Virtual Group

I offer weekly virtual group mat classes. These classes are either 30-minutes or a longer 45-minute format. See the current class schedule below. Contact me to discuss which classes might be right for you.

Virtual Duet or Closed Group Classes

Want to workout with a friend or family member? I offer virtual duets (two clients) as well as closed group classes (reserved), allowing you to workout with your own accountability group, whether that includes friends, family members or a group of riding friends from the barn. This lets you keep your group small and the workouts are customized. Contact me for availability and pricing.

Virtual Privates

Virtual privates are an ideal way to get started in Pilates, master certain exercises if you already have some Pilates experience or work on specific imbalances or weaknesses in your body that require a little more personalized attention. Another benefit to privates is there is more flexibility in scheduling so it’s easier to fit them in around other calendar commitments. In-Person Privates and Groups

If you’re lucky enough to be near the central coast of Maine, I also teach in-person from my Camden, Maine studio. The in-person experience allows us to utilize various Pilates apparatus such as the Reformer, Cadillac and Chair to ensure you get the most out of each session. In-person often provides the best opportunity for me to evaluate imbalances in your body and to design a program that can best address them. My availability for in-person instruction is limited. Contact me for more information.

Class Recordings

Are you having trouble finding a class that fits your schedule? I offer class recordings so you can take a class when it’s convenient for you. Class recordings are available as Video-On-Demand which can be found through the main menu. Class recordings are added to the menu within a few hours of the live-stream class and are available for a seven day rental period or rent all four recordings at the conclusion of each month and have access to all four for 30-days (and the price for all four recordings is discounted!). If you sign up for a live-stream class the recording is included with the class fee. Simply sign-up for a class, pay the class fee and let me know you’d like the recording. Within a few hours of the live-stream class you’ll receive a link to the recording. You’ll have access to the recording until the same class the following week (seven days from the day the class was live-streamed) after which the link will expire. This way you can take the class when you want and as many times as you want! See below for current class schedule and pricing.

Pilates for Equestrians Program

This program is designed to provide you with an easy-to-follow home workout program to get you fit for the saddle. The program includes eight, 30-minute mat classes each focusing on a theme important to rider fitness. Each class includes several pre-Pilates warm-up exercises followed by a Pilates workout. You’ll also get “homework” exercises with each class which take just 10-15 minutes to complete and provide you with a quick, daily workout that you can do when you don’t have time for a 30-minute class. This encourages you to establish a consistent routine in order to build strength and stamina without requiring a big time commitment every day.

This program will help you:

  • develop or refine an independent seat

  • improve pelvic stability

  • build core strength and stability

  • improve awareness of your position in the saddle

  • improve your ability to quickly establish or re-establish your alignment when you are crooked or when gravity pulls you off balance

  • increase stamina so you can ride longer with less muscle fatigue

  • improve your coordination so you can apply appropriate aids and communicate more clearly with your horse

Pilates CORE Classes and TRX Training

In addition to traditional Pilates, I offer Pilates CORE Classes and TRX suspension training as options for clients who want to add more core strength and stability work to their program. This allows clients to cross-train with different strength training methods and maximize their time.

Pilates CORE classes are Pilates inspired core-focused work using various props such as hand weights, wrist weights, ankle weights, resistance bands, Pilates balls, yoga blocks, and more.

TRX is the brand name of a suspension training system which uses your own bodyweight to build strength, stamina and challenge core stability.

Pilates CORE and TRX are included in The CORE Membership monthly subscription program and are also an option in private training sessions (on-line and in-person) upon request. Not a CORE member? You’ll also find Pilates CORE class recordings available to rent through my video-on-demand platform.

Movement & Mobility Class

Mondays 9:00-9:30am Eastern Time Zone

A 30-minute mix of Pilates, functional movement, breath work, stretching and mobility exercises. Prior Pilates experience is helpful but not required (I now have Intro and Beginner Pilates video series available through Video-On-Demand if you want a head start). This class breaks things down to the fundamentals, incorporating breath work into every movement and providing the perfect blend of body awareness, toning, stretch and joint mobilization to set the tone for everything else you do. A good way to start or end the day. If you’re new/newer to Pilates, this is a great place to start in a group class setting.

Intermediate Mat Class

Thursdays 9:10-9:55am Eastern Time Zone

A 45-minute Intermediate-level Pilates mat workout designed with the equestrian in mind. This class provides riders with the perfect blend of strength and stretch taught at a pace that will get your heart rate up and help you build the stamina you need for riding. Participants should have some prior experience with the Pilates mat exercises and be working at a strong beginner to intermediate level. I do provide some options and modifications for the more advanced movements so participants can decide what is best for them that day. This class is perfect for riders who are looking to challenge themselves with a low-impact workout. A 30-minute Pilates Mat class which follows the classical mat exercises so you build a solid foundation while providing lots of variations and modifications to meet you where you are. Intensity and pace will vary while always allowing for modifications and/or substitutions so you get the workout you need. This is good for those who’ve taken a few Pilates classes before but are still a little uncertain as well as those more experienced movers who want to continue to build on their foundation. Beginner to intermediate level. We may use props at times so ask me about prop recommendations or if you wish to purchase a props package.
